About the Role
As the Social Media Manager at Amazon, you will be the voice of our brand across various social platforms. Your main responsibility will be to develop and execute creative and data-driven social media strategies that engage our audience and foster community relations. You will work closely with various departments, including marketing, customer service, and product development to create content that aligns with our company values and customer interests.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies to increase brand awareness, engagement, and customer loyalty.
- Manage and curate content across various social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
- Analyze social media metrics to track performance, understand trends, and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with graphic designers and content creators to produce visually appealing and engaging social media posts.
- Interact with online communities while promoting positive brand interactions and addressing customer inquiries and feedback.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to ensure competitive advantage in social media marketing.
- Work alongside the marketing team to create promotional campaigns and product launches via social channels.
- Monitor competitor social media activities and analyze their strategies to identify best practices and innovative trends.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in social media management or digital marketing.
- Proficiency in social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.) and tools like Hootsuite, Buffer, or Sprout Social.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and utilize insights to optimize social media strategies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a keen eye for detail.
- An innovative mindset with a passion for storytelling through social media.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with a team in a fast-paced environment.
